Wildlife Tracking Training!

Trackers in Training, December2010

Berkshire Wildlife Trackers proudly presents Keeping Track, a Wildlife Tracking Training Program that “shows you where the wild things are”.

Have you ever walked through the woods, stopped to look at a footprint in the mud and wondered ‘by George, what could this be’ but resigned yourself to ignorance? Well no longer! Learn to identify tracks, scat, and sign in the humble hills of Massachusetts and Vermont. Taught by nationally recognized wildlife tracker Sue Morse, six full day and two evening sessions will teach you 1)what type of wildlife 2)why and 3)where next.

100_3408Our wooded landscape is absolutely teeming with wildlife and signs are all around. All it takes is a keen eye, the right disposition, and a bit of knowledge to elucidate the lives of bear, bobcat, deer, moose, fisher cat, weasel, river otter, and so so many more. After training, reading the woods becomes second nature, a skill that lasts a lifetime and one well worthy of sharing!

Pricing is modest and the rewards profound. So go ahead eager beaver, don’t wait, sign up now!
